Combos of the Week

One combo of at most three movements every week. Each episode's findings and concepts accumulate and interrelate: the reflection of exploring beyond the fundamentals.

Combos of the Week is the open series of the ARCO Learning System: every week, one combo of no more than three movements. Unlike the closed courses, this series grows over time — each episode adds a video, its findings and the concepts that explain it.

The combos explore beyond the fundamentals of the style: movements like the heel press or the fakie gazelle, which are not part of the official wizard core but expand its vocabulary. The series assumes the five fundamentals — Predator, Parallels, Trees, Gazelles and Lions — are already mastered; if that's not your case, the Initiation course is the starting point.

Over time, the accumulated findings and concepts form the series' reflection base: concepts like the combo structure or the trajectory appear in one episode and are reused in the next ones, interrelating the combos with each other.

Where to start

Each episode is self-contained: watch the video, skate the combo with its exercises and then read the episode's findings — the specific observations that combo leaves behind.

The concepts are the series' transversal dictionary: they are defined once and every new combo references them. When an episode mentions the trajectory or the combo structure, its page gathers all the appearances with clips to the exact moment.

Individual movements are not re-taught here: each move's detail lives in its tutorial. This series teaches how to combine them.
