Wizard Skating Initiation is the second course of the ARCO Learning System. It repackages the 5 base fundamentals series — Predator, Parallels, Trees, Gazelles and Lions — as a guided learning process: it does not teach each movement again (that lives in the tutorials), but the path between them.
The course is organized as a connected library: four principles of the style that repeat across the whole series, seven concepts that unify the vocabulary the videos present fragmented — edges, climax, tail, torso, open/closed —, ten practice exercises and three progressive routines, one per stage. Every concept and every principle points with a timestamp to the exact moment in the videos where it is explained.
A beginner arriving here can follow the full order: read how to use the course, internalize the principles, prepare their practice circle and advance stage by stage — stance, turns, transitions — until closing the 8 variations of each fundamental. The audiovisual material is the same 5 videos of the series; the course adds the structure.
Where to start
This course does not start from a personal diagnosis, like Project Águila, but from a question that repeats in every person who discovers the style: 'where do I start?'. The short answer is the order of the stages; the long answer is this course.
How to use it: first read the four principles — they are the rules of the game the five videos repeat in different ways, and everything else leans on them. Then prepare your practice circle (Routine 2 explains how) and advance routine by routine: the stance first, the turns next, the transitions last. Don't advance a stage until the previous one feels comfortable on both sides.
The concepts work as a transversal dictionary: when a video mentions the edges, the climax or the tail, its page gathers all the term's appearances across the series, with clips to the exact moment. And when you need a movement's detail — its steps, its common mistakes — that material lives in each fundamental's tutorial, not here: this course organizes; the tutorials teach.
